Concept
As president of the student council, I organized our annual student ball for 600 people and created the complete visual identity from scratch. The design had to work across multiple formats – from large-format print posters to Instagram stories – while maintaining a modern and elegant aesthetic that would appeal to students but still look classy enough for a formal event. I worked in Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to build a cohesive brand that carried through every touchpoint of the event.
Scope
I designed everything guests would see: promotional posters for print, Instagram posts and stories for social media marketing, tickets, drink menus, information boards for the venue, and various signage for the event itself. The challenge was making sure the visual identity stayed consistent whether someone saw it on their phone screen or on a 1-meter poster in the school hallway. I had to balance print requirements (CMYK, bleed, high resolution) with digital specs (RGB, different aspect ratios for social media), all while keeping the design recognizable and on-brand across every piece.
